1st Post! Lindt Cafe @Chadstone

Yo! Well this is Jason and Lily's wonderful weird blog of random stuff. (mainly food i guess) haha well anyways hope you enjoy reading and go try out some of the places that we will be posting. so stay tuned for more! As for now... we went to the Lindt Cafe at Chadstone this afternoon. Walked past the cafe 2 weeks ago but it was packed so went today after a day's of house chores for some "reward" ahha. I hand it over to my girl to tell u more!

Anyone who has a sweet tooth, this is the place to indulge! The cafe itself is rather posh and classy with nice comfortable chairs =) The menu had a wide range of chocolate desserts which took up half the menu. After much deliberation, we ended up ordering the Celebration du Chocolat and Tart au Caramel ($12 each).

Celebration du Chocolat

Nothing much to be said. A nice layered chocolate cake that was YUMMY! A chocolate lover's DREAM =D

Tart au Caramel

A chocolate, caramel, almond filled tart with a piece of chocolate with painted circles on top. Loved the nicely painted circles before I broke it with my fork =P The tart was good but I preferred the cake better =) Cool presentation though.

Besides the lovely desserts, we also ordered a hot chocolate where you get given the melted chocolate and warm frothy milk separately so you mix it yourself =) It was super rich, one of the better hot chocolates I've tasted. Forgot to take a photo but thought I might add it in.
